Dosing and mixing plant

Quality from the very beginning - that is our philosophy. The use of comprehensive and effective dosing systems guarantee optimum and efficient delivery of raw inputs (for example, sand, cement, water, additives) to cement mixers.

Using the tried and tested Masa concrete mixers results in reliable and high-quality mixing. The horizontal compulsory mixer series "PH" demonstrates highly desirable results with short mixing times and optimal material and energy inputs. Ease of maintenance and durability makes this Masa concrete mixer a worthwhile long term investment.

Concrete transport systems

Depending on the plant layout, the Masa concrete mixers are positioned directly over the curbstone press or outside. Because of the relatively liquid concrete consistency, Masa recommends the use of concrete conveying screws for concrete transport to the curbstone press from mixers located outside. To ensure a clean concrete transport, this concrete conveying system is self-contained. Other options are available on request.

Curbstone press

As referenced elsewhere, the "British Standard" (BS) is an important requirement, especially in countries of the Middle East and in the UK as a quality criterion for highly compacted concrete products. For production of BS-appropriate products Masa offers the curbstone presses models WP 01 and WP 03.

The production process is based on a method, with which the liquid concrete with adjustable pressure is highly compacted and the excess water is removed selectively. Both curbs and other one-layered concrete products can be produced with Masa curbstone presses. Some of the more notable characteristic features of these products among others, are: a very high density; a high resistence to freeze/ thaw cycles and salt; an excellent weatherproofing; a high abrasion and skid resistance.

The Masa curbstone press WP 01 is a compact 1-station press. It combines high productivity with low space requirements. The Masa curbstone press WP 03 is a 3-station rotary table press, with which allows optimal larger capacities.

Take off station and transport conveyor

In der Abnahmestation wird das Produkt hydraulisch ausgefahren. Der Vakuumabnahmekopf nimmt das Produkt von der Form, kippt es um 90° und stellt es auf eine Transportpalette auf der nachfolgenden Transportbahn. Von hier aus wird es zur Abnahmeposition transportiert.

Within the take off station the product is ejected hydraulically. The vacuum device takes the product from the ejected mould, tilts it by 90° and places it onto the following conveyor on a transport pallet for the curing process. It is now forwarded to the take off position.

    From the aggregate silos different raw materials are transported to the dosing and mixing plants (01) . Here the various inputs are processed into concrete. Many of the aggregate dosing and mixing components are the same to those used for a concrete block production plant.

    The concrete is supplied, depending on the layout of the plant by means of a concrete transport (02) to the curbstone press (03). Here the concrete is measured into a stone mold and compacted by pressing with adjustable pressure. The water is squeezed out of the concrete. Paper filters are used in this process.

    In the take off station the fresh curbs are then transfered automatically with a vacuum take off device to transport pallets and forwarded via transport conveyor (04) to the take off position.
